Axal Pro salt tablets are high-purity salt (mainly sodium chloride, NaCl) formulated for water treatment, especially water softening systems.

The salt is very pure: the NaCl content is ≈ 99.9–99.93%, with very low amounts of impurities (calcium + magnesium together < 0.01%, insoluble residue < 0.01%).

It meets water-treatment standards such as EN 973 Type A and EN 14805 Type 1, which certify its suitability for regenerating ion-exchange resins in water softeners

Axal Pro is used to regenerate ion-exchange resins inside water-softening systems. These resins remove hardness ions (like calcium and magnesium) from water; over time they get “spent” and must be flushed and recharged with sodium ions. Dissolving Axal Pro salt in water produces a brine solution that restores the resin’s sodium content, thus reactivating its softening capacity.

Because of its high purity and solubility, Axal Pro salt tablets dissolve cleanly and fully, leaving minimal insoluble residue — reducing risk of clogging, salt-mudding, or malfunction of valves/resin beds.
